Hailing from a family of connoisseurs in Classical music, I had natural interests in traditional music from a very early age. In order to acquaint myself with the contemporary form of light classical music I have been participating in various talent shows and competitions along 

side my preparation in Carnatic and Hindustani classical music. My mother Mrs.Gita was an ex bank employee. My father Late Mr.Vaidyanath was a Doctor, he was my soul inspiration who aspired me to become a singer

Contest and Awards:

• Finalist in Airtel SUPER SINGER Vijay Tv show.
• Secured 1st place in popular music show VANAMPADI hosted by Padmasri S.P.Bala Subramaniam aired in Kalaignar TV(2010).
• Secured 2nd place in Zee SA RE GA MA PA Voice of Youth, a popular competition conducted by Zee television (2008).
• Secured 1st place in PADALANI UNDI, a music competition conducted by Maa TV(2006) hosted by Padmasri S.P. Bala Subramaniam.
• Secured Distinction in Praveshika Pratham (Batch -2002) & Secured First place in Praveshika Poorna (Batch – 2004). The examination was conducted by Akhila Bharateeya Gandharva Mahavidyalay, Mumbai.
• Secured 1st position in the music competition conducted by UN council (AP) for the year 2000 & 2001.

Shows and Progress:

• Performed lots of show with most eminent playback Singer Karthik, Vijay Prakash and Srinivas Doraisawami.
• Performed shows in Switzerland, Australia, Dubai, Muscat, Canada, US, London and Singapore.
• Performed at various stage shows with renowned personalities like Dr S.P. Balasubramaniam.
